ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 26.07.2021.

2. The petitioner is working as a Staff Nurse at Chennai Women and Child Hospital, Egmore for the past 11 years. On 02.03.2016, the petitioner was issued with a charge memo for which an enquiry has been conducted and orders were passed by the Director of Medical Education, Chennai on 04.03.2021, dismissing the petitioner from service. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority on 26.07.2021 and the same is pending. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3. Heard Ms.T.Sreelekha, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents

Considering the fact that the appeal is of the year 2021 and the same is pending for more than 2 years, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 26.07.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
