Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the manaivari patta No.1174 issued by the 3rd respondent based on the petition dated 18.02.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2020 to cancel the manaivari patta No.1174 issued by the third respondent.

2. Heard, Mr.S.C.Vishwanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner filed a petition challenging the patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent before the first respondent on 18.02.2020 and it has been kept pending without conducting any enquiry.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent, after giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
