O R D E R

The petitioner herein has lost his vehicle on 06.08.2023. He alleges that certain vital documents in original were kept in the vehicle and the same also now gone with the vehicle. Hence seeks for direction to the second respondent to issue non traceable certificate for those documents.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that so far investigation regarding the theft of the vehicle for the loss of documents conducted.

3. Surprising that even after one year of the registration of complaint in C.S.R.No.754 of 2022, the respondent police has not acted upon the complaint. Therefore, direction issued to the respondent to conduct proper investigation regarding the alleged missing of vehicle and the documents kept in the vehicle. While investigating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by Director General of Police on 01.04.2022 in RC.No.2029209/Gen.1(1)/2022, to be scrupulously followed.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
