ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to make corrections in computed patta no-1463 for Kalpaganur Village S.F.No.412/8 and enter the petitioner's name in computer patta.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the properties in S.F.Nos.385/7, 385/8, 389/2, 412/8 of an extent of 5 acres. On 21.05.2004, the petitioner's father, wife and his minor children sold a portion of the above said properties of an extent of 3 acres in favour of one Sengottiyan and for the remaining portion of the property in S.F.No.412/8, patta stands in name of the petitioner. Since there was a wrong entry in the computerised patta in respect of the property in S.No.412/8, the petitioner made a representation dated 01.06.2022, before the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the said error crept in the computerised patta, but the same was not considered by the respondents 1 and 2. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to send a copy of the representation dated 01.06.2022 along with a copy of this order to the third respondent and on receipt of the same the third respondent is directed to consider the said representation dated 01.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording an 3/5

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, including the fourth respondent within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

7. With the above observation and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
