O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The man-animal conflict is the result of man encroaching onto the habitats of the animals. The prayer made in the present petition is for directions to the respondents to initiate detail study on the human-animal conflict in the Districts of Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Vellore, which was preceded by a representation dated 24.05.2016.
2.On a perusal of the petition, we find the petition completely devoid of any particulars, ground work or suggestions. Merely to state that the human-animal conflict exists is not sufficient. Undoubtedly, various studies have been done earlier and no specific input is forthcoming from the petitioner.
3.We are, thus, not inclined to entertain the petition as a public interest litigation.
4.Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
