Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records pertaining to Prospectus for admission to MBBS/BDS courses 2013-2014, eligibility clause 7(a)(iv)(c) quash the same and directs the 2nd respondent to allot one M.B.B.S. seat to the petitioner based on the marks obtained under the Special category (Orthopedically Physically disabled) for the Academic year 2013-2014 and assess the marks as per the MCI No.MCI-31(1)/2010-Med/62051 dated 15.02.2012. The petitioner seeks to challenge the prospectus for admission to MBBS/BDS Course 2013-2014 with regard to the eligibility clause and consequently, seeks for a direction to the 2nd respondent to allot one MBBS seat to the petitioner for the said academic year.
2. This Court, while admitting the writ petition has not granted any interim order. Now, we are in the year 2017 and therefore, this Court is of the view that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
