PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first and second respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members life to live peacefully at his home situated at South Street, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District by considering the representation of petitioner dated 08.11.2021 in accordance with law. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner and his family members were living at his home in South Street, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District. Due to land dispute, regarding boundary line, the third respondent attempted to construct wall over petitioner wall and the same was objected by the petitioner and he was attacked by the respondent Nos.3 to

6. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 08.11.2021, before the first and second respondent police seeking police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner is pending on the file of the second respondent police.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 6 after giving an opportunity for conducting enquiry and disposed of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
