ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to defreeze the account of the petitioner bearing Account NO.914010021879428.

2. According to the petitioner, he was shown as A1 in Cr.No.1 of 2024 and at the instruction of the police, the petitioner's account was frozen and at that time, Rs.75,000/- was there in his savings account and 1 lakh was available was fix deposit. Both the accounts were frozen. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner may be permitted to operate other than the amounts already lying in the account for his day to day purposes.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has no serious objections in marking a lien over the said amounts.

4. Such view of the matter, let the second respondent make a lien over the amount of Rs.1,75,000/- (Rs.75,000 in savings account and Rs.1,00,000/- in fixed deposit) and defreeze the bank account for the rest of the amount. With regard to the rest of the amount, the petitioner is entitled to operate the bank accounts for his day to day activities except the sum of 2/4

Rs.1,75,000/- (Rs.75,000 in savings account and Rs.1,00,000/- in fixed deposit) for which a lien to be marked by the second respondent.
