Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the third respondent in their distraint order vide TN Rc.No.5298/2001/C1 dated 10.5.2007 being the alleged arrears of lease amount and on failure to attach the Petitioner's property found at survey No.130/5, Manali Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvellore District and quash the same and direct the respondents to forbear them from giving effect in any manner, the impugned distraint order pending consideration of the Petitioner's representations dated 31.03.2005, 15.03.2006, 06.06.06, 14.06.2006, 20.06.2006, 29.01.2007, 28.02.2007 and 22.05.2007.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the third respondent in their distraint order vide TN Rc.No.5298/2001/C1 dated 10.5.2007 being the alleged arrears of lease amount and on failure to attach the Petitioner's property found at survey No.130/5, Manali Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvellore District and quash the same and direct the respondents to forbear them from giving effect in any manner, the impugned distraint order pending consideration of the Petitioner's representations dated 31.03.2005, 15.03.2006, 06.06.06, 14.06.2006, 20.06.2006, 29.01.2007, 28.02.2007 and 22.05.2007.

2.There has been no representation for the Petitioner during the earlier hearing on 06.07.2018. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption of "For Dismissal" on 12.07.2018. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
