ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus, to disburse the death benefits of the petitioner's husband Late P.Naagaiya and Sanction or Grant the family pension to the petitioner and disburse the arrears of family pension from 25.01.2011 until the date of disbursement to the petitioner, within the stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 19.02.2025, seeking death benefits and family pension. It is further contended that this representation has been pending with the respondents for consideration since February 2025.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that upon receiving the aforementioned 2/6
representation, the respondents had requested certain documents from the petitioner and such documents have not yet been provided. It was further submitted that upon receipt of the required documents, the respondents will pass appropriate orders on the representation accordance to its own merits and in accordance with law.
4. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and also perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's above representation dated 19.02.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if the petitioner has been sought to produce any documents, he is directed to submit those same within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
