The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to modify the conditional amount imposed in the order dated 18.06.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.14210 of 2023 in Crl.R.C.No.1550 of 2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court while granting suspension of sentence directed the petitioner to deposit 50% of the cheque amount i.e., Rs.2,50,000/- to the credit of C.C.No.5281 of 2016 on the file of the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai, however, the petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.1 Lakh before the said Court on 11.11.2022. Hence this Court may direct the petitioner to deposit the balance Rs.1,50,000/- and prayed to modify the condition.

pri 4.In view of the above, this Court is inclined to modify the conditional amount. Accordingly, clause (a) of paragraph no.6 of the order dated 18.06.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.14210 of 2023 in Crl.R.C.No.1550 of 2023 is modified to the effect that 'The petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Fifty Thousand Only) in C.C.No.5281 of 2016 on the file of the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai' and the amount shall be deposited within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
