PETITIONS under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 08.7.2013 within a stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in occupation of house sites and that the lands occupied by them have been classified as Government poramboke lands. The grievance of the petitioners is that they had given applications for issuance of patta in respect of the lands occupied by them. Since nothing is forthcoming, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioners have not produced any proof for submitting the applications and that if any fresh representation is made, it will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the said submission of the learned Government Advocate and considering the limited nature of the relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to send a fresh representation to the respondents and on receipt of such representations, the respondents shall consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
