2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners were appointed as Teachers in the vacancies arising out of retired teachers. After their appointment, the fourth respondent had already sent a proposal to approve their appointments in their respective posts. However, it is pending with the third respondent.

4. Therefore, it would be appropriate to direct the third respondent

to consider their appointments for approval within the stipulated time. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to consider the proposal sent by the fourth respondent for approval of the petitioners' appointments, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
