This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to sanction interest for the belated payment of encashment of leave salary for the period from 01.12.2009 to 01.09.2022 to the petitioner and for the belated payment of retirement benefits such as Gratuity, Pension arrears etc to the petitioner for the period from 01.12.2009 to 07.09.2022 at the rates applicable as per rules.

2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2022 & 19.04.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 2/4
