ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition has been instituted for directing the respondents to grant leave without escort for 90 days to the petitioner's husband detenue namely Lavendran [Kumar], Life Convict No.25509, detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2024. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor with reference to the relief sought for in the Writ Petition would submit that the prisoner has been admitted as in-patient at Government Hospital at Coimbatore, wherein treatment is provided to the convict. It is further contended that the petitioner who is the wife of the prisoner is at liberty to visit the prisoner at Government Hospital at Coimbatore.

3.Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to meet her husband/convict prisoner in Government Hospital, Coimbatore.

4.In view of the fact that the convict has already been admitted in the Government Hospital, Coimbatore and treatment is provided, no further consideration is required.
