This petition has been filed seeking bail in Crime No.409 of 2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 309(4), 311 and 351(3) of the BNS.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner/accused was detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, under the Goondas Act (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982), and he also produced a copy of the detention order dated 17.08.2024 in No.853/BCDFGISSSV/2024.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
