Though notice has been served on the respondents and their name printed in the cause list, none appeared on their behalf. 2.It is seen that though the appeal came to be filed on 12.12.2017, the same has been kept pending till date, on the ground that the records are awaited. In this background, the learned XVI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, shall endeavour to expedite the process of receiving the records and complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.This Criminal original petition stands disposed of accordingly.
