Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2021 and thereby direct the respondents to measure the property situated in survey No.723/2, 723/3, Keeraisathu Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, by erect milestones and issue patta in the name of the petitioner based on the proceedings in Na.Ka.E2/3389/2021 dated 03.09.2021 issued by the 1st respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2021 and to measure the property comprised in survey Nos.723/2 and 723/3 situated at Keeraisathu Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, by erecting milestones https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and issue patta in the name of the petitioner based on the proceedings in Na.Ka.E2/3389/2021 dated 03.09.2021 issued by the first respondent.

2. Heard, Mr.B. Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner filed an application on 16.08.2021 to measure the property comprised in survey Nos.723/2 and 723/3 situated at Keeraisathu Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District before the third respondent. The petitioner also paid requisite fee to measure the subject property.

4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to survey and measure the property, after issuance of notice to the counter parties and adjacent land owners, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
