The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 353 and 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4(1)(a) and 4(1)(i) of TNP Act in Crime No.325 of 2022.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent on regular patrol, the petitioner was found to be in possession of 5 bottles (650ml) of King fisher and Black pearl bear. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner was found to be in possession of 5 bottles (650ml) of King fisher and Black pearl bear. He would further submit that there are 4 previous cases of similar nature as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel and also taking note of the fact that there are 4 previous cases of similar nature as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
