ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This is a public interest litigation seeking a writ of mandamus to direct respondent No.1, the Administrator, Shri Seshadriswamigal Ashramam, to file details along with copies of the report to the Court and provide a copy to petitioner.

2. It is not even stated that petitioner is beneficiary or a trustee. It is

alleged that Court had relieved the Administrator with a direction to hand over the administration of trust to other remaining trustees, except family member of the deceased accused, namely, Muthukumaraswamy, including petitioner in Criminal Original Petition No.12547 of 2020. It is stated that respondents are duty bound to give information in public. If the trust or trustees had any grievance, they would have taken legal recourse. Petitioner has no locus.

3. Petition is dismissed with costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand). Petitioner shall pay this amount as donation to the same trust i.e., respondent No.1. This amount shall be paid within two weeks from today.
