The criminal original petitions have been filed seeking to enlarge the petitioners on bail in Crime No.92 of 2022, on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the five accused persons waylaid the de-facto complainant accused persons and assaulted him and snatched a black bag containing laptop and mobile phone and ran away from the scene of occurrence. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case He would further submit that the petitioners are in custody from 20.08.2022. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioners are arrayed as A5 and A1 respectively. He would further submit that the petitioners along with three other accused waylaid the de-facto complainant and by assaulting him, snatched a black bag containing laptop and mobile phone, worth about rupees twenty thousand from him and escaped from the scene of occurrence. He would further submit that the robbed materials have been recovered from the accused and he would also submit that each petitioner has a previous case pending against them. Hence, he vehemently oppose for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the materials available on record.

6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions stand dismissed.
