ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by S.MANIKUMAR, J) Petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pay compensation of Rs.25 Lakhs and for further orders. On 24.08.2017, when the matter was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, we directed the Registry to post the writ petition under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, we are constrained to dismiss the writ petition for default. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for default. No Costs.
