ORDER

The above writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2 nd respondent, to dispose the representation dated 25.06.2024, in view of the decision of the petitioner's to resume the land as agricultural lands for cultivation.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner's submitted that the petitioner's submitted a representation on 25.06.2024, and several other representations for cancellation of the gift deed dated 08.03.2013, executed by them at the time of promoting the layout. However, there was no response to the petitioner's representation. The petitioner's therefore were constrained to file the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. Considering the facts of the case and the limited prayer in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2 nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
