This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.178 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent police insofar as the petitioners/A1 and A2 are concerned.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that earlier the petitioners had filed a petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8231 of 2025 seeking to quash the very same F.I.R. When the said petition was taken up for hearing on 20.03.2025, it was submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Hence, the present petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that originally, in the month of December 2024, 2/5

the charge sheet was filed before the Special Court and the same was kept pending. Later, it was returned for some defects. Now the defects have been rectified and re-presented before the Special Court on 17.07.2025.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

5. The Special Court is directed to take the charge sheet on file if it is otherwise in order and expedite the trial and dispose of the case as per Section 35 of POCSO Act.
