ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 408 and 420 of IPC in Cr.No.118 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner gave a false promise to the defacto complainant and his friends and others by assuring them to get a job in Airport Authority of India and collected a sum of Rs.25,35,500/-, but, the petitioner has failed to procure the job for the defacto complainant and his friends and cheated them. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner has also been deceived by the main accused. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raised objection by stating that the petitioner gave a false promise to the defacto complainant and his friends and others by assuring them to get a job in Airport Authority of India and collected a sum of Rs.25,35,500/-, but, the petitioner has failed to procure the job for the defacto complainant and his friends and cheated them and he further submits that the investigation is still pending. Considering the gravity of an offence committed by the petitioner and also considering that the huge amount involved in this case and and also the fact that the investigation is under progress, which needs detailed investigation, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
