PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the Medium Goods Vehicle TATA 1109 four wheeler van bearing Registration No. TN 28 AL 6445 seized by the Inspector of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Salem, Salem District by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner 25.10.2013 to the petitioner.

Heard both.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to release the medium goods vehicle TATA 1109 van bearing Registration No.TN 28 AL 6445 based on the representation dated 25.10.2013.
3. Mr.B.Anand, learned Government Advocate states that the vehicle of the petitioner was already released on 02.1.2014.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is also dismissed.
