The criminal original petitions have been filed seeking to enlarge the petitioner herein on bail in S.C.Nos.402 of 2014 and 36 of 2016 on the file of the learned V Additional City Civil Court, Chennai in connection with the Crime Nos.2287 & 2289 of 2013 respectively, on the file of the respondent Police.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an accused facing trial in S.C.Nos.402 of 2014 & 36 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned V Additional City Civil Court, Chennai. He would further submit that since, the petitioner did not appear before the Court on 19.01.2021, a Non Bailable Warrant was issued against him. He would further submit that subsequently, the petitioner has been implicated in a false case and meanwhile, he was arrested on 25.08.2022 and he is in custody for the past one month and hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that these cases are of the year 2013 and in which, the petitioner was arrayed as A1. He would further submit that the accused, one after another was absconding and thereby, causing delay in trial from the year 2014 and 2016 respectively. He would further submit that two other accused are yet to be secured and he would strongly object that if the bail is granted to the petitioner at this stage, it would derail the trial. He would also submit that the cases are now posted for framing of charges on 28.09.2022. He would also submit that there are 13 previous cases as against this petitioner. Hence, he vehemently oppose for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the materials available on record.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the cases are of the year 2013, which are taken up on the file of learned V Additional City Civil Court, Chennai in S.C.Nos.402 of 2014 & 36 of 2016 and it is now posted for framing of charges on 28.09.2022 and also taking note of the fact that there are 13 previous cases against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions stand dismissed for the present.
