ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, to expedite the case in M.C.No.279 of 2016.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that they have filed a petition in M.C.No.279 of 2016 as against the respondent before the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, seeking maintenance. But, the learned Judge is granting periodical adjournment and hence, the respondent has not paid any maintenance. Hence, seeking early disposal, the petitioners have come up with the present petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to expedite the trial of the case in M.C.No.279 of 2016 pending on his file and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
