ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The allegation of the petitioner is that the respondents did not allot funds for the construction of building for the Combined District Court of Kanchipuram District as per the representation dated 20.08.2020.

2. Mr. P. Muthu Kumar, learned State Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 2 to 5, on instructions, submitted before this Court that the Engineer-in-Chief, Public Works Department, has received a communication from the High Court, by letter dated 11.04.2022 and a reminder dated 06.06.2022 has also been received by the Engineer-in-Chief. 2/5

3. Learned State Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, further submitted before this Court that the Engineer-in-Chief today sent an estimation to the Registrar, High Court, Madras for the revised plan and estimate for the construction of the combined Court Building with other additional amenities to the Registrar, High Court, Madras.

4. Recording the aforesaid statement, the writ petition stands disposed of. We hope that the respondents will take necessary action for earlier sanctioning of the fund for the construction of the building, subject to the satisfaction of the State Rules. No costs.
