Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.08.2022 and issue patta for an extent of 44.25 cents in Survey No.82/2, Noombal Village, Poonamallee Taluk. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.08.2022 and issue patta for an extent of 44.25 cents in Survey No.82/2, Noombal Village, Poonamallee Taluk.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The issue arises in the writ petition is already been settled by this Court in W.P.No.9575 of 2004 by an order dated 07.06.2011. Thereafter the 6th respondent herein preferred an appeal before this Court and the Division Bench of this Court also dismissed the same vide order dated 05.11.2019. 2/4

Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 to 4 on 11.08.2022 for grant of patta to the subject land. However the same was not considered. Hence this writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this court is inclined to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
