2. Captioned Crl.MP has been filed with a prayer to dispense with production of certified copy of the original detention order and grounds of detention (both English and Tamil versions) dated 17.04.2023 bearing reference C.No.41/G/IS/2023 on the file of the second respondent.

3. Mr.S.Jimraj Milton, learned counsel on record for the petitioner is before us. Learned counsel submits that certified copies served on the detenu have been misplaced and that has necessitated filing of captioned Crl.MP.

4. Issue notice. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned State Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of the matter and taking into account the fact that photocopies of the aforementioned detention order and grounds of detention have been filed, the reason given i.e., that the petitioner has misplaced the original detention order and grounds of detention is accepted.
