..Respondents Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioners' Written representations dated 22.05.2024 to Respondents 4 5 and 6 consequentially to grant house sites with Patta to the Petitioners in the acquired land under the Harijan Welfare Scheme measuring 3.01 Acres in Survey Nos.492/1A and 492/1B of Thelungupalayam Village Coimbatore after verifying genuinity of their claim For Petitioners : Mr.Thangavadhanabalakrishnan For Respondents : Mr.T.K.Saravanan AGP Order Heard Mr.Thangavadhanabalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.T.K.Saravanan learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioners' Written representations dated 22.05.2024 to Respondents 4 5 and 6 and consequentially to grant house sites with Patta to the Petitioners in the acquired land under the Harijan Welfare Scheme measuring 3.01 Acres in Survey Nos.492/1A and 492/1B of Thelungupalayam Village Coimbatore after verifying genuinity of their claim

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner seeking for the aforesaid relief has made written representation to the respondents, however, as on the date, the same has not evoked any response and hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time, that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for, in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case as projected by the petitioner, either in this Writ Petition or 4/6

representation, is of the view that suffice it would be to direct the sixth respondent to dispose of the petitioners' written representations dated 22.05.2024 on merits and in accordance with law in a time bound manner, after due notice to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the sixth respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 22.05.2024 and after issuing due notice to the petitioners, the same shall be disposed of by passing final orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
