O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offence under Sections 318(4) of BNS, in unknown Crime No. of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail

2. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that only a petition enquiry is pending and if the petitioner participates in the enquiry, it would suffice to decide whether any cognizable offence is made out or not.

3. Considering the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summons. The petition enquiry shall be completed within 21 days from the date of appearance of the petitioner. If the petitioner fails to cooperate or if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police shall take necessary action in accordance with law.
