This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to file a final report before the competent court of law in Crime No.265 of 2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.265 of 2016 on 06.12.2016, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents police would submit that in this case, investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gingee and it is yet to be taken on file.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to take the case on file immediately if it is otherwise in order.
