PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2022 to give police protection to the petitioner and her family through any other police except the fourth respondent.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2022 to give police protection to the petitioner and her family through any other police except the fourth respondent.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner gave a representation to the third respondent with regard to give police protection to the petitioner and her family, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2022 is available with the third respondent and they are ready to consider the petitioner's representation. 2/4

4.Recording the same, the third respondent hereby is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
