PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in No.89/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 27.06.2024 against the petitioner's Suresh male aged about 23 years son of Renu vide his proceedings now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai District and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court.

ORDER

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.5797, Home Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department dated 22.08.2024.
Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
