ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner for his premises based on the application submitted by the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.U. Karunakaran, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.J.Jaivenkatesh, the learned Standing Counsel for the 1 st to 4 th respondents and Mr.G.Velu, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the 5 th respondent.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Electricity Board submitted that the subject property has been classified as "Meikal Poramboke". The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that the petitioner

must make an online application along with all the necessary particulars and the same will be considered and the decision will be informed to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the online application from the petitioner.
