O R D E R

This writ petition is filed by the driver of the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation. Driving license of the petitioner has been seized by the second respondent in view of the accident occurred on 09.05.2019.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents has produced the records indicating that subsequent to the registration of First Information Report, the Inspector of Police has requested the Regional Transport Officer to take action against the petitioner for negligent driving. Hence, the Regional Transport Officer has issued a show cause notice to the petitioner on 25.06.2019 under Section 19(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. On receipt of explanation of the petitioner on 02.08.2019, order has been passed by the 2nd respondent temporarily suspending the driving license of the petitioner for 1/4 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a period from 10.05.2019 to 09.11.2019 vide proceedings dated 06.08.2019.

3. In view of the order passed by the 2nd respondent invoking power under Section 19(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, nothing survives in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
