ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.P.Surya Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner alleges encroachment on a waterbody by the fourth respondent. The writ petition is filed seeking direction against the official respondents to remove the same.

3. Learned Government Advocate submits that survey would be conducted within four months from today. If upon survey, encroachment is found, then, steps in accordance with law to remove the encroachment would be taken.

4. In view of the said statement, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.31401 of 2022 is closed.
