This petition has been filed to call for the records culminating in Crime No.39 of 2020 on the file of the First Respondent and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the respondent police registered a case against the petitioners in Cr.No.39 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, 1998 and based on the complaint given by the first petitioner, the respondent police lodged a case against the de-facto complainant and the same was registered on the same day i.e., on 14.03.2020. He further submitted that both the cases pertains to family dispute. The main grievance expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the respondent police is proceeding partially against the petitioner. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the dispute is between the brothers who lodged 2/4

complaints against each other and hence two F.I.R.'s came to be registered.
