Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and take action on the representations of the petitioner dated 01.08.2022 and 04.11.2024 submitted for payment of compensation under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Ramalingam For Respondents : Mrs.S.Indhu Bala Additional Government Pleader Order Heard Mr.A.Ramalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to consider consider and take action on the representations of the petitioner dated 01.08.2022 and 04.11.2024 submitted for payment of compensation under 2/6

the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representations made by her seeking for aforesaid prayer is considered and disposed of by the respondent concerned in a time bound manner.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a period of six weeks and thus, seeks for appropriate direction in that regard.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, 3/6

is inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent concerned to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 01.08.2022 and 04.11.2024 made for payment of compensation under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
