ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to receive the settlement deed dated 03.09.2022 submitted by the petitioner for registration and register the same.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned 1/3

Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner presented a Settlement Deed dated 03.09.2022 executed in favour of her Minor grandson K.Kavisainath before the first respondent for registration and the same was returned orally without assigning any reasons. Therefore, the 1st respondent is directed to entertain the settlement deed dated 03.09.2022 presented by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, if it is otherwise in order, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on payment of requisite statutory fees.
