Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2015 and direct the respondents to allot a plot to the petitioner out of the 65 un-allotted plots in the Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar Scheme, New Perungalathur within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

A representation was made by the petitioner on 18.11.2015 to the respondents stating that he may be allotted one plot out of the 65 un-allotted plots in the Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar Scheme, New Perungalathur. Now seeking to expedite the said request, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.Taking note of the pendency of the aforesaid representation dated 18.11.2015, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
