The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of Crl.M.P.No.2297 of 2022 in D.V.C.No.5 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II at Poonamallee. 1/4

2. When the matter came up for admission, I called for a report from the learned Judicial Magistrate as to how long he would require to dispose of the said proceedings. The learned Judicial Magistrate has submitted a report through the Chief Judicial Magistrate at Tiruvallur that the application in Crl.M.P.No.2297 of 2022 was allowed and disposed of on 21.09.2024.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the order that has been passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate. If that be so, the appropriate remedy is to approach the Court of Sessions as per Section 29 of the Act.

4. In the light of the above, no further order is necessary in this revision and accordingly, the civil revision petition stands closed. No costs.
