ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondentPolice to file a charge sheet forthwith in connection with FIR No.224 of 2022, on the file of respondent-Police, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that based on the complaint made by the petitioner herein, the respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.244 of 2022 on 05.11.2022, for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of the IPC, as against the accused persons. Since the respondent-Police has not yet filed the final report/charge sheet, the petitioner has filed this criminal original petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent-Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.244 of 2022 and file a final report before the competent jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
