By an order dated 24.02.2021, the defendants have been set ex-parte. The plaintiff was directed to lead evidence. During the course of evidence, the plaintiff has produced secondary evidence of cheques which were relied on by the plaintiff to establish the case.

2. This application has been filed seeking permission to mark the photocopies of documents as secondary evidence.

3. It is stated that the cheques which had been issued, had been returned and the original written memos have however been marked. The original cheques, it is claimed have been lost.

4. In view of the said reason, the application stands allowed.
