Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to consider the request made by the petitioner society dated 02.08.2023 along with 1/4

the resolution passed by the petitioner society dated 01.08.2023 and forward the request of the petitioner dated 02.08.2023 by recommending to the 1st respondent to lease of the fishing right of Kavanur Lake, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District to the petitioner society for a period of 5 years viz. 2023-24 to 2027-28 by applying G.O.M.S.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (FS.IV) Department dated 17.11.1993 paragraph 2 of RSO 211 and the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 batch dated 21.06.2023.

ORDER

The petitioner is a co-operative society of fisher women and fishermen and they have made a representation to the second respondent for fishing rights in Kavanur Lake, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Gudiyatham,Vellore District in terms of G.O.Ms.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (F.S.IV) Department dated 17.11.1993.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court an order of the single Judge of this Court in a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 and batch., dated 21.06.2023. 2/4

3.Mr.V.Manoharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4.The respondents are now directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2023 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.332 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
