Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order dated 29.06.2022 on the file of the 5th respondent and quash the same and further direct the 5th respondent to correct the name in the death certificate vide Registration No.COC/2002/02/027/000051/0 dated 30.09.2021 as D.Mythili.

ORDER

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 5 had forwarded a report of the 3rd respondent/the City Health Officer on 27.02.2023 in P.H.D.C.No.:ZHO(VS)/854/2023, wherein, it had been stated as follows;- " Based on the available documents and field inspection report, it is submitted that the name from D.Julie to Mythili @ D.Julie & also the age from 19 to 29 may be modified in the Death Certificate and

Death register of Old Div 27, New Div 60, Old Zone 02, New Zone 05 in the registration No:51 of the year 2002."

2. In view of the same, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are given three weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to carry out modification in the Death Certificate as stated in the aforementioned report. No costs.
