O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 29.07.2016 and consequently direct them to issue assignment allotment to her, in view of the similarly placed evacuees from Ennorekuppam to Athipattu Pudhu Nagar.

2.

According to the petitioner, she was allotted two cents of land by the Revenue Department under Ennore Thermal Project Scheme at Door No.29, Karumariamman 4th Street, Athipattu Panchayat, Ponneri Taluk. Though she made several representations to the 3rd respondent to include the names of her daughters and son in the assignment allotment, her efforts turned futile. While so, it is the version of the 3rd respondent that some other's name is wrongly entertained in the said address.

3.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that while all other displaced persons from Athipattu have been given assignment patta, she is entitled to two cents of land at Athipattu, since she was also displaced from Ennorekuppam. Lastly, the petitioner gave a representation on 29.07.2016 to the respondents to issue assignment allotment in her name. Finding no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.

Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the material documents available on record.

5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2016 in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
