The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2025, in connection with Crime No.287 of 2025 registered on the file of the respondent police, for the alleged offences punishable under Section 81 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused had involved in child trafficking. Hence, the case.

3. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for bail. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) reiterated the prosecution case and objected for granting bail to the petitioner. He further submitted that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, the present complaint has been registered. He also submitted that the bail application in Crl.O.P.No.19822 of 2025 filed by the co-accused in this case has already been dismissed by this court.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
